Sodus Point, New York

Sodus Home
Sodus Pt. Lighthouse
Saturday, Sept. 10th.   Working our way up the Lake Ontario coast.  Sodus Point is at the tip of a large bay off of Lake Ontario.  It's a town settled in the late 1700's and is a regional weekend/vacation spot for  New Yorkers.  It is also near the Finger Lakes area.  We drove to Seneca Lake and Lake Cayuga, two of the 5 finger lakes.  This is a major grape growing/winery area.  It also has Amish farmers scattered thru the area and we saw a neat horse drawn wagon going down the road.  A beautiful area.
